L&D Consulting

Reflection Employee Development & Initiatives has several different Learning and Development services ranging from L&D assessments, conducting trainings, consulting on L&D program issues, or helping to develop your program.  Please see our program options below.

Learning and Development Assessments

Our Learning and Development (L&D) Assessment is designed to identify gaps in your L&D program, build the best course of action, develop action plans, and set goals that close gaps.  The assessment also helps develop a L&D strategy to create strong systems, understand next steps, and build knowledge with your L&D team, leadership, and company.  Through this process you will discover that learning and development isn’t just one person’s job, everyone must be involved in being successful.  It requires team effort.

  • Starts with a Zoom call to meet business team, then take assessment.
  • REDI travels to facility to discuss gaps and identify best course of action.
  • REDI and team discuss what future L&D team looks like, company’s wants, and needs.
  • REDI assists in developing meaningful goals.
  • REDI conducts monthly calls to discuss progress, best practices, and answer questions.
  • REDI will revisit site after three months to reassess.
  • REDI can also visit sites to assist with project implementation, development of training materials (ex. Training videos), or develop curriculum libraries (see Learning and Development Material Building/Organization section).

Learning and Development Training Opportunities

REDI also offers training!  Learning and development isn’t just about having training materials, it is about having the right people conducting the right training!  Whether it is classroom training, mentor training, or giving a validation, having the RIGHT PERSON MATTERS!  These are the people who set the atmosphere for trainees.  It is the company’s first impression, culture, vibe, overall company attitude, bonds, and message.  If you don’t have the right people, you could be giving off the completely wrong message and leaving your company looking for more new employees.  Below are some statistics.

Statistics:

L&D Training Programs:

  • Train the Trainer: How to Present Like the Best! → Our Train the Trainer training isn’t just about training people to give classroom training; it is about how to make them good presenters.  REDI’s goal is to help them be more confident when presenting, interact with the crowd, and not have a snooze fest!   REDI also teaches them important tips and tricks of presenting to make them feel more comfortable and confident.  This training takes about 1 hour.
  • Mentor Training → Mentor training is about making people want to be good mentors! Everyone always remembers their worst training experience.  Our goal is to never repeat that experience again!  The training teaches them about different learning styles, the importance of a positive training experience, how to communicate with trainees, and how to deal with difficult trainees.  This training is 1.5 hours filled with knowledge, growth, and fun!
  • Validator Training → REDI’s validator training is custom to each facility. All facilities conduct validations a little different; examples being paper validations, computer validations, to validations conducted on tablets/iPads.  Some facilities do peer to peer validations or manager to employee validations.  The main topics that never vary are confidentiality, professionalism, and answering questions.  This training can take 1-2 hours depending on the facility and validation style.
